Of the current 450,000 people released from prison every year, their research shows that 2/3 of them are rearrested within 3 years.
Prison Fellowship Ministries is an organization that seeks to transform the lives of the correctional population by introducing them to the word of God and the power of Jesus Christ. They serve those who are both currently incarcerated and those who are paroled/on probation throughout the United States. PF Ministries’ mission is to reduce recidivism rates by leading the correctional population to Christ and showing them an alternative, Christian faith-based way to live.
PFM also supports the communities of the incarcerated by driving initiatives to send gifts to their children (18 and under) through their Angel Tree program, and by equipping prison wardens to be Christ-like leaders via their 7-month Warden Exchange program. Their Prison Fellowship Academy and TUMI (The Urban Ministry Institute) both aid prisoners in growing in their identities in Christ through reformation and potential Christian leadership. Since it’s in inception in 1976, they have touched the lives of over 1.6 million incarcerated people nationwide.
Needless to say, Prison Fellowship Ministries are acting as the Lord’s shepherds and are winning souls for Christ (Mat. 9:37-38; Luke 10:2) and making disciples of the nation (Mat. 28:18-20).
On behalf of Clarke’s Creations, I’m overjoyed that we were able to contribute to their efforts, and I pray that the Lord continues to work through PFM to restore the faith and determination needed to the correctional population so that they go on to thrive as born-again believers! 🫶🏾
